We are one of the leading community anchor organisations in South Gloucestershire building connections, delivering wellbeing support and working with communities in Kingswood, Patchway and Yate to help people thrive.
We are integral to health and wellbeing developments locally and across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, working with partner organisations to promote and champion the work of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector and build strong relationships with partners in health and the local council.
Over the last six years, the charity has seen significant development focussing on community development and health and wellbeing services that allows us to provide a holistic service that helps individuals and communities build on strengths and overcome challenges.

The Board of Trustees meets 4 times per year and has one joint awayday with the Senior Leadership Team. It currently comprises business and finance expertise, community and health voices. Trustees are asked to join one of the committees in addition to the full Board. These committees are
We are looking for like-minded people who have a passion for making a difference within our community. Previous experience as a Trustee is not necessary – we can help with that. What’s important is your desire to help people in our community.
We are looking for a range of experience and are not concerned if this is your first time being a trustee. Any contribution you can make is valued. The most important thing is your desire to support individuals and communities. Whilst we are looking particularly for Trustees with skills in the areas of Financial management, Business development / Sales, Fundraising events and Service design, we would welcome applications from anyone who feels they can bring skills to our Board. All we ask is a minimum of 3 years experience in your area of expertise.
As part of our board you will support and guide our work and strategic direction. Your input and experience will enhance our dedicated Senior Leadership and Front Line Teams.
