The Standards Manager oversees the Standards Subcommittee, proactively assessing the standards of our events and working to ensure that they are the best they can be.
The Standards Manager monitors and assesses the endpoint of our charitable aims, ensuring that the interactions between children and our characters/volunteers are as magical as possible. When these interactions go particularly well or are found wanting, they will critically analyse the situation and provide several key questions for the Standards Subcommittee (which they chair) to discuss and brainstorm ideas to ensure that good interactions are replicated and less good interactions are improved upon. They will then oversee the implementation of these ideas.
The Standards Manager needs to have experience in quality improvement. They should have experience in critically analysing outcomes and mapping causation to identify areas of improvement.
The Standards Manager ensures that the experience of the children we visit is as magic as possible. There's a fine line between a children believing a character is genuine or not and through quality improvement, the Standards Manager ensures that these visits are as magical as possible.
