We're looking for an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic IT Manager to join our Management Team as a Trustee

What will you be doing?

As our IT Trustee, you will play a crucial role in shaping Malvern Sea Cadets' use of digital equipment and technologies.

Your expertise will help ensure that our IT systems and processes support the delivery of our programs and the smooth running of our operations.

You'll be a valued member of our team, contributing to our goals of growing our Sea Cadets unit to welcome even more young people each week!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on IT systems and infrastructure
  • Ensure that our IT systems are robust, secure and compliant
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology
  • Support the implementation of new software, with advice and training to volunteers
  • Advise on data protection regulations

What are we looking for?

  • Professional experience in IT, digital strategy or a related field
  • Knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity and data protection regulations
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Passionate about improving the lives of young people
