Trustee Secretary needed to join the Board of this busy local charity working to tackle social isolation and loneliness. 

 

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Trustee to join our Board as Charity Secretary, with specific responsibility for convening and minuting Board meetings and making sure that the Charity is meeting Charity Commission/other regulatory requirements.  Experience and understanding of charity governance would be an asset.  You will also work with the the other Trustees contributing ideas and experience to help shape our work and strategic direction, as well as achieve our mission.

Time commitment: Board meetings in Pershore every two months.  Joining in occasional PR/marketing/fundraising/social events.

What are we looking for?

Governance, ideally in a charity setting. Familiarity with Charity Commission guidance or willingness to acquire this. Familiarity with meeting procedures. Good written English. Conscientious and well organised. Team player.

This is a vital role, key to keeping the Board on track and helping ensure we can continue our support for isolated and vulnerable members of our local community.
