We are on a mission to realise the full potential of our new Strategy 2028, and we are looking for a passionate and skilled Trustee to help us drive our vision and strategy forward and shape the future of Letchworth Garden City.
This is an exciting time to join us. As a unique, endowed, and place-based Foundation, we are actively looking at new ways to develop and manage our assets to generate income that is reinvested locally to fulfil our charitable objects. We aim to create real and lasting impact, from caring for our heritage and green spaces, to providing great cultural activities and nurturing learning and wellbeing. We want to improve opportunities for our young people, tackling inequality and enhancing the lives of everyone who lives in the Garden City.

We need a dynamic and experienced Trustee with strong leadership and people skills with expertise in one (or more) of the following areas:

As a Trustee, you will be a champion for the Garden City, advocating for the community and acting as an ambassador for the Foundation. You will work alongside a committed team of fellow Trustees, governors and staff, helping to shape strategy and ensure a thriving, sustainable future. For those with leadership aspirations, this role could be an ideal opportunity to progress to becoming Chair of the Board as part of our governance succession plan.
