Citizens Advice Tendring is a well-established and respected advice charity that wants to recruit a skilled professional with knowledge of the local community who can lead the development of delivering of advice through digital means.
The board currently lacks the necessary expertise to fully exploit the possibilities offered by digital engagement.

You will be utilising your I.T./Digital skills and knowledge to assist the board in planning a successful digital strategy. This will extend the service's reach across the local community and make it better able to take advantage of future opportunities as they arise.
You will be joining a board of trustees from similar professional backgrounds who enjoy working collaboratively and welcome new ideas and fresh thinking. You'll also be part of a well-respected local charity which has for nearly 30 years provided much-appreciated advice to the people of Tendring.
Trustees need to live in or close to the Tendring District so that they possess the knowledge of the area necessary to perform the role and also for accessibility for meetings and occasional visits to outreach locations. Board meetings currently occur approximately every 6 weeks and are held at Clacton on Sea.
