Can you support our growth and development? Can you journey with us into the future? We are a small charity that prides itself on our professionalism and we want to grow whilst maintaining the quality of our provision.
The trustees of Adenydd are seeking people to join them in their work; people who have an inclusive approach and a sense of moral responsibility and service to families, children and those who support them.
Vision and commitment to supporting those impacted by adverse childhood experiences and developmental trauma are essential. Current trustees have extensive experience in health and social care and education, on both a paid and voluntary basis. We also have trustees with lived experience and those who are experts through experience.
We have developed rapidly and need to grow our capacity and provision in order to meet the need that continues to grow in our community and across the nation. We have a passion for our work and a range of projects and training that we can offer. We are looking to recruit more volunteers and Associates to support this growth and development and would like additional Trustees to enable us to do this professionally and in a planned and manageable way.
We are currently looking for new trustees that have skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: growing a charity, business and the private sector, enterprise/business development, corporate sector experience/networks. We are looking for trustees who want to do and/or to guide.
As part of our board you will support and shape our work and strategic direction, as well as support us to achieve our purpose of "helping the world feel a safer place for children with developmental trauma."
This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for children who have had adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), their families and the people who support them. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity.
We guarantee there will be many opportunities to feel proud of your work and the difference you can make to our work:
