We are an innovative charity helping young people's mental health in Oxfordshire. We require a new person to join our board. Do you know charity law and compliance? We need your help!

What will you be doing?

We require an experienced legal specialist to join our board to ensure we are the most effective charity that we need to be. We require a diverse range of skills. We need a professional with charity law expertise. You will be working alongside the board of trustees, as well as our CEO. We are an ever-growing charity; therefore, we need your help to ensure our development continues.  If you'd like to help us on our journey, please get in touch and we can discuss the role with you!

What are we looking for?

We require a professional that has got legal experience. Specifically, we need someone who has a sound knowledge of charity law and compliance, as well as being familiar with the associated policies and procedures. Also, this role would need to be for someone who is able to work as a part of our friendly team, whilst also able to work independently.

What difference will you make?

The Oxfordshire Discovery College is largely run by volunteers to help us meet our objectives. By giving up your free time, you can make a real difference to young people struggling with their mental health in the county through shaping our charity at a governance level and with our strategic direction. Hearing stories about the way the Oxfordshire Discovery College has transformed young people's lives really gets you in the gut - and you can be partly responsible for that!

Before you apply

Are you interested in this role? If so, please get in touch! Please ask us any questions through Reach and then we can arrange further communication from there. If you require any additional information, we can offer an informal chat so you can find out more about us. We hope to hear from you soon.
