Citizens Advice Epping Forest is a local charity, providing advice and information to about 3000 clients a year, and is looking for a someone with legal knowledge and expertise to become a trustee and expand the diversity of the board.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a trustee who can add their legal expertise and knowledge to the board's range of expertise. Attendance at 4 board meetings a year is essential and you will want to get involved in the activities of the legal and financial sub-committee. The charity is going through an exciting period of change, the Covid pandemic having accelerated the move to a telephone-first service and more focused face-to-face accessibility for clients around the district.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate should be committed to the work and philosophy of Citizens Advice and interested in getting involved in the community in Epping Forest. We are specifically looking for someone with legal knowledge and expertise.

What difference will you make?

With the retirement of a long standing trustee who was a legal professional, the board wishes to find a new trustee who can add some legal knowledge to the work that engages the board.

What's in it for the volunteer?

Adding your expertise to the work of the board of this local  charity will enable you to contribute to your local community. You will be working alongside a group of  expert and interested trustees, and a team of passionate hardworking staff and volunteers.
