Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

An enthusiastic person, who is interested in engaging with local youth, promoting mother and baby groups, senior groups and general needs of the citizens of our small town; to become a trustee joining a team of eleven others.

What will you be doing?

Someone with knowledge of either youth work, and or fundraising and finance would be most welcome. Ideally, someone who would have the time to occasionally visit the various activities at the centre. Most of our trustees, although well into retirement, provide a wealth of knowledge, but another younger trustee would provide a useful balance.

What are we looking for?

Interest in youth work or finance or funding. Enjoys working in a team. Keen to provide opportunities for young people and others in the local community.

What difference will you make?

The new trustee would hopefully come with new ideas; most of our board are long term members. Experience of youth work or finance and funding would provide a good balance to existing trustees, helping to guide the charity to provide more opportunities to more people in Henley and the surrounding area.

Before you apply

The applicant should first speak to the Trust Administrator and visit the Centre. Approval of the board would then be sought.
