Can you support our marketing for growth and development? Want to join our journey into the future? We are a small charity and pride ourselves on our passion and professionalism. We aim to grow whilst maintaining the quality of our provision.

What will you be doing?

We would like to recruit a Trustee with marketing skills and experience; to develop and implement our marketing strategy to increase visibility, 'sales' and reach for our Charity. If we can improve our marketing and increase our income generation then we can run more projects for children and families.

We are looking for someone with passion and dedication to supporting those impacted by adverse childhood experiences and developmental trauma; who has an inclusive approach and a sense of moral responsibility and service to families, children and those who support them.

We would welcome some 'hands on' marketing support in addition to time spent on Trustee business.

All our volunteers, Associates and Trustees have regular 'Reflect and Review' meetings with the CEO or Chair of the Board to enable open, planned discussions around their roles. this enables us to discuss what support you need and what support you can offer as well as what is going well and what could be better. We find these open and transparent two-way conversations benefit everyone.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for Trustees who want to do and/or to guide.

The diversity of our Board is important to us. We would therefore particularly like to hear from:

  • global majority/ethnic minorities
  • younger people
  • people with different abilities and marginalised groups.

We would like to include Welsh speakers who have a clear knowledge and understanding of developmental trauma and its impact on children and families

What difference will you make?

As a member of our Board you will shape and monitor our work and strategic direction, as well as support us to achieve our purpose of "helping the world feel a safer place for children with developmental trauma."

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for children who have had adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), their families and the people who support them.

As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the development of the charity.

We guarantee there will be many opportunities to feel proud of your work and the difference you can make to our cause!

  • We welcome new ideas and perspectives. Can you broaden our diverse team and challenge our thinking?
  • Remote but connected. Freedom to work from anywhere in the country, with flexible hours, but still an integral part of our team.
  • Be part of the change. Bring your passion, energy and skills to our charity.

Before you apply

Please apply through Reach in the first instance. Candidates will then be asked to complete our own application form via Microsoft Forms to tell us more about their interest in the role and their passion for our work.
