We are searching for Trustees to join one of our two committees; Finance People and Premises or Teaching & Learning Welfare.
We have two committees; Finance People and Premises (FPP) or Teaching & Learning Welfare (TLW).
Each committee has its own set of terms of reference which can be shared with you on application.
Meetings are in three categories; FPP (2 a term), TLW (2 a term) and full board meetings (2 a term).
We are looking for skills in any of the below (candidates do not need all of these skills);
Human resource management and managing change.
Education, Social Care or Mental Health related experience.
Support will be provided for new trustees / governors to become effective in their strategic work for the Trust. Our overall ethos is the make a difference in the lives of young people within our local communities.
The Trust is going through an exciting stage of development with the opening of two new schools for pupils with special education needs and therefore need to extend their governance compliment.
The usual term of office is 4 years and there are opportunities over time for trustees / governors to have key roles to support the development of the Trust.
This role will help us make a difference in the local community for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will be able to develop the support of the schools and Trust with the CEO.
