We are a small welcoming group of trustees with vacancies linked to safeguarding, perinatal mental health and school readiness. We support vulnerable families helping them to make a difference to their children's lives.

What will you be doing?

We have three trustee vacancies as board members relocate. You will need to attend the annual AGM and quarterly, evening board meetings. These are held remotely at present but will be face to face once restrictions allow. We are based in Epsom have a sustainable financial base from which we are looking to diversify our services. We need trustees with skills and experience in the following: safeguarding - to be the board lead; understanding of policies and procedures; perinatal and infant mental health; primary age children and school readiness.

As a board we know our staff and volunteers value trustees who are engaged and take an interest in their work.

What are we looking for?

We need safeguarding, perinatal and primary school skills. It would be nice to have human resources, contract, finance and grant management skills.

What difference will you make?

You will be able to help us make a difference to vulnerable children and their families as we provide support to local families, with children up to 10 years of age, who will benefit from Home-Start services.
