Trustees will be expected to attend one meeting per month. Action and activity between meetings is flexible and to be agreed with individuals.

Malvern Sea Cadets are looking for Trustees to join our Unit Management Team to support our journey of growth and development to enrich the lives of our cadets. 

What will you be doing?

Malvern Sea Cadets is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated H&S trustee to join its Unit Management Team (UMT).  We are a long-established Sea Cadet unit that has provided life-changing opportunities for many young people. We currently have 24 cadets who come from all over the area.

The charity is currently looking for volunteers that can support with the running of the unit with a particular focus on Health and Safety. There are free training courses available for you to develop new skills, boost your CV and support you in this role.

What are we looking for?

Many different skills and knowledge areas can be useful but the right attitude and a passion for improving the lives of young people are essential. If you think you are a match for the person specification below, please get in touch:

You have three years or more professional experience in positions with skills or knowledge of  Compliance / health & safety / estates.

You are reliable, honest and trustworthy

You are a good communicator

You work effectively with a team

You are able to motivate and encourage others

What difference will you make?

You will play a key role make a positive difference to teenagers who are often struggling in today’s world and their communities.
