Headway Darlington and District, is a small charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury. The group is run by a small, dedicated volunteer team of trustees. We are looking to recruit additional trustees, to work with our experienced and skilled team and strengthen our committee.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from people with experience of working with people with a brain injury but would encourage anyone looking to give something back to their local community and support brain injured survivors, to apply.
We would welcome anyone with experience in supporting brain injury survivors and their families.
As a trustee you will be part of a team and will have the opportunity to add your unique skills and experience while learning from others. Our trustees support and shape our work and strategic direction, as well as help us achieve our purpose to improve the lives of survivors of a brain injury.
