Your role as Trustee will be to support the Unit Management Team with your input and skills

What will you be doing?

Great Yarmouth Sea Cadets is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated trustee to join its Unit Management Team (UMT).  We are a long-established Sea Cadet unit that has provided life-changing opportunities for many young people. We currently have 10 cadets who come from all over the area. Our aim, through having a great team of volunteers, is to increase this number through advertising, word of mouth, networking and involvement in the community.

The charity is currently looking for volunteers that can support with the running of the unit. There are free training courses available for you to develop new skills, boost your CV and support you in this role.

You have three years or more professional experience in positions with skills or knowledge such as:

  • General management and administration
  • Financial management / fundraising
  • Public relations / social media
  • Compliance / health & safety
  • Education / safeguarding
  • Estates / legal

You are reliable, honest and trustworthy

You are a good communicator

You work effectively with a team

You are able to motivate and encourage others
