As Trustee will be to support with the charity’s fundraising efforts. You will work closely with the charity CEO to identify new funding opportunities, foster relationships with donors, and create engaging campaigns.

What will you be doing?

Your role as Trustee will be to support the CEO with the current fundraising activities.

As a Trustee focused on fundraising, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to secure essential funding for our mission. You will work closely with the CEO and board to identify new funding opportunities, foster relationships with donors, and create engaging campaigns. Your efforts will directly support our growing community. 

What are we looking for?

We have big plans over the next few years! As we continue to grow globally, we’re seeking a trustee with a strong background in fundraising to help us expand our reach and impact.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Support the development of our current fundraising strategy
  • Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organisations
  • Collaborate with other trustees and the team to develop unique fundraising events and initiatives
  • Monitor fundraising trends and identify opportunities for innovation
  • Create persuasive marketing materials and case studies that demonstrate our impact to potential donors.

Required skills

  • Experience in fundraising, ideally in the non-profit or tech sector
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of people
  • Strategic thinking with an innovative approach to fundraising
  • Commitment to our mission of promoting inclusivity and diversity in tech
  • Previous experience as a trustee is not essential
