Creative Sparkworks is seeking a new board member with expertise in fundraising to create a meaningful impact by contributing to a small charity, we help positively change disadvantaged young people’s lives who face significant barriers to employment.
Using your existing fundraising skills to lead on identifying and developing local funding opportunities, assisting in drafting and submitting compelling bids, working closely with the Trustees and CEO to achieve significant and sustainable income. Developing relationships with potential funders and corporates to encourage donations, sponsorships, match funding and long-term strategic partnerships and increased awareness of Creative Sparkworks profile. Your expertise in fundraising, grant writing, and strategic planning will be critical in helping us secure the resources needed to create a sustainable charity. Your guidance in preparing key documents like our business plan, project proposals, and grant applications, as well as organising targeted outreach to donors, will have a direct impact on our ability to secure essential funding.

A Fundraising and Grants Specialist will be essential to the success of Creative Sparkworks and the marginalised communities we serve. By helping us build relationships with donors, corporates and apply for grants, you will enable us to focus on what truly matters, making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve and impact even more people. You’ll be making a huge difference to the everyday lives of disadvantaged young people. We are a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of some very talented young people facing many barriers to employment and education. This isn’t just about raising funds—it’s about ensuring we can continue providing vital training and support to those who need it most.
