We are seeking a Trustee (Finance) at Arts Without Boundaries, a small, inclusive Kent-based charity supporting people in the local community through multi-arts activities.

What will you be doing?

Trustee (Finance) Role Description – Arts Without Boundaries

We are currently recruiting a Trustee with financial/accounting expertise, with focus on the following areas:-

  • Ensure that the financial affairs of the charity are conducted compliantly within the legal requirements of the Charity Commission.
  • Ensure that the charity’s financial dealings are prudently and systematically accounted for and are publically available.
  • Ensure that the annual report is written and submitted to the Charity Commission.
  • Prepare and present budget and have oversight of expenditure for reporting purposes to the charity’s Trustees.
  • Develop a long-term financial strategy for the charity in partnership with the other Trustees.

What are we looking for?

The role requires someone with expertise in finance, accountancy and/or bookkeeping and who is interested in supporting the arts and inclusive community-based activities.
