The trustees of Adenydd are seeking people to join them in their work; people who have an inclusive approach and a sense of moral responsibility and service to families, children and those who support them.
Vision and commitment to supporting those impacted by adverse childhood experiences and developmental trauma are essential. Current trustees have extensive experience in health and social care and education, on both a paid and voluntary basis. We also have trustees with lived experience and those who are experts through experience.
We have developed rapidly and so has our budget. We have a Finance Officer who takes care of the day-to-day financial processes; he and the Board would appreciate the oversight and advice of an experienced financial professional to ensure best practice. We have a passion for our work and a range of projects and training that we can offer on a traded basis as well as funding through grants. Can you help us ensure great financial governance and accountability for our accounting? We'd love to hear from you!
We are currently looking for new trustees that have skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: growing a charity, business and the private sector, enterprise/business development, finance, fundraising corporate sector experience/networks or legal experience. We are looking for trustees who want to do and/or to guide.
As part of our board you will support and shape our work and strategic direction, especially in terms of finances, as well as support us to achieve our purpose of "helping the world feel a safer place for children with developmental trauma."
This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for children who have had adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), their families and the people who support them. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic and financial progression of the charity.
We guarantee there will be many opportunities to feel proud of your work and the difference you can make to our work:
