We are a small charity recruiting professional people to help us to grow in all areas of our work. We have recently lost trustees due to relocation and illness. We wish to move forward in new directions and expand.
You will be a valued member of the trustee team assisting the board to see the bigger picture, bringing fresh perspectives to volunteer recruitment, training & support, local fundraising plans, strategy and development.
As we are a small organisation all Trustees are 'hands on' we do much of the day to day work ourselves as part of a team. We need someone who is prepared to work with us to strategise, organise and participate in fundraising events where necessary, recruite, train & support volunteers & work with them - can be remotely, on fundraising events or initiatives - in the first instance, until volunteers are confident to work alone or with others as part of a Supporters Group.
If you are able to answer yes to some of the above you could be the person we are looking for to strengthen our team, please get in touch.
We are recruiting a new and dynamic team to help the charity to grow. Your participation will be part of this ongoing strategy.
We have recently moved our head office to Mid Wales - Dolgellau and are looking to growing and expenading the charity from here. We mainly work remotely with conference calls, emails & phone calls to keep board meetings to a minimum.
This role gives the participant a real opportunity to help our charity to grow locally and expand our grassroots activities so helping many disadvantaged children & families abroad. Our USP is that we deliver our service directly and we are all volunteers. We believe that all our projects need to take into account the vital importance of sustainability of both the project and the environment. For this reason we promote environmentally friendly projects and methods of work in the UK and abroad as part of our remit.
These factors endear us to funders but we need a bigger team so look forward to meeting you.
