Bi monthly Board meetings usually held within our premises at 6pm and reading Board papers.

Looking to support Coatbridge Citizens? . Trustees need to either live or work in Coatbridge and have a passion to help those less fortunate than themselves within the local community of Coatbridge and surrounding villages. 

What will you be doing?

Be a proactive part of our Board of Trustees giving support and strategic direction to the local Citizens Advice Bureau and Bureau Manager,  which is an essential part of Coatbridge and is available for independent, confidential and impartial advice and support to any citizen who contacts us. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for new Board Trustees who want to make a difference in their local community, experience of either running a business or managerial experience. We are keen if the trustee have some of the following skills: finance, marketing , governance experience, strategic planning (all desirable) including any previous experience with governance.. We would like the person to take an active part in the discussions at the bi monthly meetings, support our Bureau team of volunteers and staff. and help set the Bureau’s strategy, policies, and project plans

 

What difference will you make?

We have lost some longstanding trustees in the last couple of years due to a 6 year serving rule and are keen to get fresh ideas and trustees who will take a proactive role in securing a future for us strategically as well as support for the Bureau Manager operationally if required.
