Visitors from Fifth Day

Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are looking for new trustees in the UK – it is important for us to have a diverse board that not only reflects the communities we work with, but that can also bring a range of experiences to challenge us.

What will you be doing?

We are ideally looking for someone with a local connection to our UK base through living, working or studying in Fenland or wider Cambridgeshire, OR someone who has a particular strength and experience in one of the following:

o Education / working with young people

o Equality, diversity & Inclusion

o Arts/cultural organisation development

If you’d be interested in supporting the continual development of our organisation we would love to hear from you – knowledge or experience of working in the creative sector is not required at all. We have a broad range of skills and experience represented on our board, and any training needed will be provided.

What are we looking for?

We are ideally looking for someone with a connection to our local area - Fenland or wider Cambridgeshire, OR someone who has a particular strength and experience in one of the following:

o Education / working with young people

o Equality, diversity & Inclusion

o Arts/cultural organisation development

What difference will you make?

As part of our board you will support and shape our work and strategic direction, as well as help us achieve our purpose to advance education for the public benefit by the promotion of the arts, in particular but not exclusively the art of drama - we create new theatre productions for young people that are presented locally, nationally and internationally. We deliver an education and engagement programme working with young people in the UK

Before you apply

In addition to why someone is interested in becoming a Trustee of NIE, we would like to know what you would bring to the role
