As a Trustee, you will provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight to support our mission. You will attend board meetings, contributing to decision-making, ensuring financial sustainability, and upholding legal and ethical standards.

What will you be doing?

Trustee/Board Member Description

We are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees and contribute to the growth and success of our organisation. As a Trustee, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the charity, providing governance, oversight, and support to ensure that our mission is achieved effectively and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend and actively participate in regular board meetings, bringing your expertise and perspectives to decision-making.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation’s strategic plans and goals.
Oversee financial management, ensuring the organisation operates within budget and is financially sustainable.
Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
Provide guidance on risk management and help identify opportunities for organisational growth and improvement.
Serve as an ambassador for the organisation, promoting its values and mission to external stakeholders, partners, and the community.
Support fundraising efforts and contribute to the development of key partnerships and collaborations.
Ensure that the voices of service users and stakeholders are considered in decision-making processes.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for individuals with expertise in Legal, HR, health & Safety and Risk Management to help strengthen our Board. Your experience in these areas will be crucial in ensuring the organisation remains compliant with legal requirements, fosters a positive working environment, and effectively mitigates risks. You will play a key role in providing governance and strategic oversight, helping us navigate challenges and ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission.
