Perthyn are currently recruiting for Trustees across the UK.

What will you be doing?

Perthyn is a well-established charity that provides care and support to over 225 adults with learning difficulties across Wales and England. Working with nine different Local Authorities, Perthyn (a Welsh word for Belonging) is a large not-for-profit social care provider with over 800 employees and a £20 Million turnover.

Perthyn is a dynamic charity constantly striving to improve the lives of those we support, to enable them live with dignity and to be active and valued citizens within their own communities.

As Perthyn continues to expand, we are looking for new Trustees to complement and strengthen our existing Board. The role of a Trustee is a rewarding one. Meeting 6 times per year, plus attendance at perhaps 1 or 2 sub committees, our Trustees ensure that Perthyn delivers on its ambitious vision and charitable objectives.

Applications are particularly welcome from candidates who can bring diversity to the Board and who have an understanding of the challenges faced by social care providers; but the main requirement is to have the empathy and passion to support us as we make a real difference to people’s lives.

If you’re interested in joining our passionate, forward-thinking Board of Trustees, please contact us via the Reach Volunteering platform.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced individuals, who can bring their knowledge to the role of Trustee.
