Founded in 2005, WAND UK is an independent charity, based in Ladbroke Grove in West London, that supports women and girls, especially those from marginalised, isolated and vulnerable communities.  Our mission is to enable our clients to become their own agents of change by promoting self-advocacy, lifelong learning, and health and wellbeing. We prioritise holistic approaches that encourage the prevention of crisis points and help build resilience.  Services are developed based on the emerging needs of clients, as well as in response to gaps in local service provision. Our work is community-based and considers social and cultural context to ensure the changes women are making in their lives are sustainable.
