Feeding the Family is an innovative and loving response to a need we saw for the lonely and vulnerable in the local community of Basildon. By showing love to the lonely and vulnerable in a tangible and practical way.
Loneliness is a normal human emotion experienced by us all through different life events. For those that have good support networks around them, a hug, a text, a coffee can be enough to breakthrough the lies that say you are alone and it will pass, but sadly for many in Basildon who are socially isolated they need our practical help and support to find a way out of loneliness.
As a Trustee, you’ll work alongside a small, committed team to shape strategy, ensure financial stability, and safeguard our values, ensuring that every decision supports our mission to bring people out of isolation. Join us in building a community where no one feels alone.
