What will you be doing?

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking individuals who will bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role, and who will help broaden the diversity of thinking on our board. We particularly welcome expertise in:

  • Auditing – Reviewing financial processes and ensuring transparency.
  • Regulatory & Policy Knowledge – Understanding policies affecting the voluntary and education sectors.
  • Charity Management – Experience in leading or managing a charity.
  • Sector Experience – Background in the voluntary, education, or related sectors.
  • Lived Experience & Community Representation – Direct experience as a service user or a close connection to RADLCF’s mission.
  • Digital & Technology – Knowledge of cybersecurity, service design, and digital strategy to support our online presence and data security.

What difference will you make?

As a small charity, trustees may need to be actively involved beyond Board meetings. This may include helping to identify funding opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting RADLCF within their networks. Trustees are also encouraged to participate in charity events and initiatives, offering guidance and hands-on support where needed. By actively contributing in these areas, trustees help strengthen RADLCF’s impact and sustainability, ensuring continued opportunities for young people in Liverpool City Region.
