Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are a cross-artform and heritage organisation that collaborates with artists, creatives and organisations, both locally and nationally.  We are a hub for creativity, learning and cultural opportunities for the community and beyond.

What will you be doing?

Skills or experience

Skills or experience Heritage, environmental, health and safety, legal or financial expertise; experience or knowledge of governance would be an advantage to the board.  If you have little experience in these areas but an abundance of enthusiasm for the role, we would welcome your application.

What will you be doing?

This is a strategic role and board members support the Co-CEOs in their planning and decision making.  They contribute to the content and design of policies and ensure these are fit for purpose. They offer support and challenge in our questions and contributions to discussion.  Individually they offer advice on our areas of expertise, helping colleagues to stay ahead of trends, rules or regulations in your field.

What are we looking for?

Heritage, environmental, health and safety, legal or financial expertise; experience or knowledge of governance would be an advantage to the board.  If you have little experience in these areas but an abundance of enthusiasm for the role, we would welcome your application.

What difference will you make?

What difference will you make?

The Board wishes to become more diverse and your application will help us to achieve this.  Your contributions will be welcomed and your ideas will influence our collective thinking.   Please note that we welcome all forms of experience and recognise the value and importance of the broadest range of voices on our board.  It is not necessary for you to have had specific trustee or charity experience.  We are interested in hearing about what you would bring to the role of a trustee and why you are keen to be part of the organisation.
