Visitors from Fifth Day

Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are seeking trustees to join our friendly team.

We help people of all ages & abilities take part in activities such as growing food, tending plants & creating wildlife habitats.

What will you be doing?

We’re keen to better represent the diversity of our community so would welcome applications from people of colour or with experience of disability.

We’re keen to find people with experience in HR, governance, running a business or accounting.

There are usually six trustee meetings a year, occasionally more (held on a Thursday evening). Trustees are encouraged to take an active role in our community activities and annual events, and to sit on one of our sub-committees which include: Garden Committee, Community Projects, Premises & Safety, Finance & Governance and Workshops & Publicity.

What are we looking for?

The Triangle Community Garden is looking for new trustees to join our active, committed and friendly management committee. We’re keen to better represent the diversity of our community on our board of trustees – we’d welcome applications from people of colour or with experience of disability.

We’re looking for committed people with a couple of hours a week to spare, preferably (but not essentially) with experience in HR, governance, running a business or accounting. As a trustee, you may claim for out of pocket expenses such as training and travel.

What difference will you make?

As part of the Trustee committee you will contribute to the strategic vision and future plans of this well-established local North Herts charity.

Before you apply
