The ND Harbour aims to improve the mental health of neurodivergent people in Kent. We need a trustee to join our board to help steer our governance, either through accounting and finance expertise, or experience as a mental health professional.
We are looking for people with a passion for improving the lives of neurodivergent people, along with either professional or lived experience of neurodivergence.
The role can be carried out remotely, and you do not need to live in Kent.
You do not need previous governance experience – we will provide a full induction and training.
We are looking for people who would be able to take on one of the duties of Lead Safeguarding Trustee. We therefore particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in a mental health role. Other specific areas of expertise that we would be particularly interested in include health and safety; clinical psychology; psychiatry; mental health nursing.
We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.
