Following a skills gap analysis, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in marketing and/or fundraising.
- As a Trustee you will provide leadership and direction for the organisation, including:
- Provide leadership and direction for the organisation
- Taking overall legal responsibility for the charity's work
- Acting in the best interests of the charity
- Contribute towards the Trustees fundraising annual target
- Delegating day to day tasks to staff and volunteers
- Make strategic decisions about the charity's future
- Ensure everything is legal and safe
- Support the manager, staff and volunteers
- Oversee the charity’s work and ensure it aligns with our mission
- Stay informed and skilled in your trustee role
More specifically, we are looking for:
- Support the growth of our corporate and major donor fundraising activities by opening doors, developing relationships, and contributing to strategy.
- Help diversify our income streams to maintain a sustainable charity.
- Bring expertise in charity marketing communications and strategy to enhance our cause, elevate our beneficiaries’ voices, and strengthen our impact within the sector.
