We are on a mission to inspire and support people, businesses, charities & other community organisations to contribute & volunteer in their local communities. We organise fun, environmental, community events nationwide!

What will you be doing?

We organise fun community events that provide a platform for volunteering and fundraising for local causes. Just Helping is constantly growing and developing a network of volunteer teams across the UK to support these events.

Our flagship event is the Christmas Tree-cycling Event. We love this event because it engages thousands of volunteers and hundreds of organisations to work together and contribute to their community. The collection also engages tens of thousands of members of the public to donate to good causes while providing a valuable community service.

We work in close partnership with local charities and individuals that help us coordinate the event. These charities play a vital role in our communities and that is why we support them as a major beneficiary of the funds raised by this event.

In January 2024 more than 4000 volunteers in 65 locations worked with Just Helping to collect and recycle 65,000 trees and raised £1.18 million for local charities, charities and community projects.

The Christmas tree collection event has been growing every year with a vision to offer Christmas Tree-cycling in every postcode within 3 years. We plan to continue this growth by engaging more volunteers, local charities, and corporate supporters across the country.

“As the media, technology, globalisation, and pace of life distract us, there is a massive shift of focus away from our communities. We stop seeing what is in front of our eyes and we fail to recognise that it is our neighbours and people close to us that also need support. Our society is in need of a sense of community, a world where people care about each other not just their own personal achievements. Just Helping’s key aim is to re-engage communities into contributing and supporting their local and wider community” Nick Stammers Chair of Trustees

We are looking for talented individuals with a proven track record who can help us continue to rapidly grow. You might have Data Analytic, Digital Marketing, Bid Writing, Logistics, Stakeholder Engagement and Enviromental Action & Policy experience.
