Our board meets every 2nd month for 2 hours. The Trustees may be involved in subgroups on alternate months.

What will you be doing?

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Trustees for LDVG have responsibility for governance of the charity and overseeing the management and administration of the organisation, including financial monitoring and decision making. We are seeking support in fund raising, Green Energy/ Climate Action, transport sector and those who wish to support a long running charity. Please refer to role description attached.

Time Commitment

The Board meets 6 times per year from April 2024,normally from 5pm to 7pm on 3rd Tuesday of the month. The Charity now has an interactive comms system which will allow for the occasional opportunity to join online.

There will, from time to time, be the opportunity for Trustees to join subgroups such as Fundraising, HR, Finance & Evaluation and Research which meet outwith the main Board meeting. Trustees are also expected to attend the AGM, which is normally held in the summer.

Communication between meetings usually takes place by e-mail, letter or occasional phone call.
