Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are looking for trustees that reflect the neighbourhood we serve; If you can think of a community then there are probably some in Foleshill.

What will you be doing?

The current challenges the Board face are development and diversity.

We have recently opened a new larger community building and we need to ensure it meets local need so we need someone with an understanding of managing a community venue with a diverse cohort who use it and with governance experience in the third sector.

The main needs of the Board of Trustees are ensuring that the charity meets it legal and regulatory requirements by updating policies, procedures and processes.

As part of our board you will help shape the business plan and deliver our aims and objectives. This will ensure continuation of our services and is essential for helping the communities.

You will also get the chance to be hands on if that is what you like to do, from community events to celebrating festivals.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates with an understanding of managing a community venue with a diverse cohort who use it, and with governance experience in the third sector.

Broad Street Hall would ideally like individuals who understand our communities, who have lived experience of those that use our hall, and have a passion for enriching peoples lives.

What difference will you make?

As part of our board you will help shape the business plan and deliver our aims and objectives. This will ensure continuation of our services and is essential for helping the communities.
