The current challenges the Board face are development and diversity.
We have recently opened a new larger community building and we need to ensure it meets local need so we need someone with an understanding of managing a community venue with a diverse cohort who use it and with governance experience in the third sector.
The main needs of the Board of Trustees are ensuring that the charity meets it legal and regulatory requirements by updating policies, procedures and processes.
As part of our board you will help shape the business plan and deliver our aims and objectives. This will ensure continuation of our services and is essential for helping the communities.
You will also get the chance to be hands on if that is what you like to do, from community events to celebrating festivals.

Broad Street Hall would ideally like individuals who understand/represent our communities, have lived experience and understanding of the issues local people face, and have a passion for enriching peoples lives.
