Are you passionate about helping others and giving some of the most vulnerable people within our community a voice? If the answer is yes, this could be the perfect role for you!

What will you be doing?

STAMP Revisited is a small but ambitious charity, which provides advocacy and emotional support to  those experiencing mental health difficulties. We support them to access vital services they need that they would not be able to access independently due to ill mental health. We have already supported thousands of the most disadvantaged people to have their voice heard and their choices respected by those that are making decisions about their future.

We are seeking, at least, 3 individuals who are ambitious, forward-thinking and have effective communication skills to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee of STAMP Revisited, you will play a crucial role in setting the strategic direction of the charity and ensuring good governance.  You will contribute to ensuring that the charity fulfils its mission, operates effectively, and remains accountable to those experiencing mental health issues.

What are we looking for?

We particularly want to recruit more young people, those with lived experience and candidates from ethnic communities to increase the diversity across our Board.  We welcome applications from everyone, but we are particularly keen to hear from people with skills and experience in the following:

  • Fundraising, Income Generation & Financial Management
  • Business Development & Strategy
  • Marketing, Media & Public Relations
  • Equal Opportunities, Disability & Discrimination
  • Law & Governance
  • Human Resources

The ideal candidates will bring innovative ideas, enthusiasm, and excellent judgment to help lead the organisation.  An understanding of, and empathy with, the types of issues faced by our clients is also important.

What difference will you make?

You’ll work for a well-established charity that makes a real difference to people’s lives. Your expertise will directly contribute to advancing our mission and helping those in need.

You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to benefit the local community, whilst gaining valuable experience and expanding your skill set in non-profit governance.

You will have the opportunity to connect with fellow trustees, staff members, volunteers and community partners who share your passion for making a difference and experience the satisfaction of knowing that your contributions are making a positive difference in the lives of others.

This is an unpaid role, but all reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

If you have the personal qualities and enthusiasm for creating positive change and building a brighter future for our community, we would love to hear from you!

Before you apply

Please provide a cover letter detailing why you are interested in this role and your relevant experience.
