Deadline

20 Jun 2020

Enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals, committed to the promotion of healthy relationships, passionate about research!

What will you be doing?

If you really want to change the world and are brilliant at researching grant organisations to support a fantastic cause- or helping build impactful relationships with private companies, we'd love to have you on our team! We have a fundraiser but we’d love her to be able to focus on putting grant applications together, rather than spending much of her time looking for trust funders, individuals and grant makers to apply to.

If you can research where we can find the most suitable funding then we can do even more good.

  • Identifying appropriate trusts, grant funders and donors, where we fit their criteria.
  • Talking to and researching businesses and organisations about their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, and where applicable, setting up meetings with them and our team.
  • Using books, and online platforms to help us source individual funders, trusts and grant makers.

What are we looking for?

A fun filled, enthusiastic team player with a passion for research, a zeal for success and excellent communication skills!

Attention to detail and able to work with minimum supervision- though of course we will help you out as much as we can when you need it!

We want you to be energised by finding funders, with an eye for accuracy and an ability to engage with vast amounts (and heavy tomes) of information, usually found both online and in the reference sections of your local library! We'd love to meet up with businesses, who keen to engage with us and would like you to help them build impactful relationships with us.

You need to be someone who doesn’t get discouraged easily- there’s a lot of funders where we almost fit their criteria, but we hope to find those which are the perfect fit, through your research and knowledge.

What difference will you make?

A massive one- your ability to find great funders and grant giving organisations will dramatically change lives.

And without it- it won't happen. It's that simple.

With family and relationship break downs on the rise, poor mental health, emotional disorder and identity issues on the increase, particularly in young people: we believe that improving healthy relationships and encouraging positive self esteem is key to transforming the culture we live in.

So, yes, if you want to make a difference, then this is the role for you, without a doubt.

If this all sounds like you then please apply NOW! So that you don't miss out on working with us and we don't lose out on working with you! Please send us your CV and a covering Email / note to tell us why we'd be bonkers not to choose you as our next team member and we'll come back to you as soon as we can.

What's in it for the volunteer?

Well, you get to work with an amazing team of fascinating people & be a part of our vision to see a world where people have healthy self esteem, respect for each other, leading to positive relationships & good sexual health. We want to see people flourish & reach their potential. We also want those living with HIV to be completely integrated into every part of our society.

If that doesn’t give you some purpose, then I’m not sure what will!

Although this position is unpaid, all expenses to meetings can be covered. Remuneration for any additional costs can also be discussed with the CEO
