We are looking for our next Treasurer for our Board of Trustees, to take our work in ensuring young peoples voices are included in youth mental health interested across Europe.

What will you be doing?

The ideal candidate will either have experience or openess to learn about financial acumen, leadership abilities, and a commitment to our mission. As a key member of the Board of Trustees.  Th Treasurer will oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and risk management, alongside the Chief Operations Officer & Chief Exectuive Officer.

Responsibilities include: financial analysis, cash flow management, investment oversight, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

What are we looking for?

Ideal Treasurer (its okay if you do not have some of these things):

  • Financial qualifications and experience 
  • Some experience of charity finance, fundraising and pension schemes 
  • The skills to analyse proposals and examine their financial consequences 
  • Being prepared to make unpopular recommendations to the board 
  • A willingness to be available to staff for advice and enquiries on an ad hoc basis
  • Experience of working in the field of mental health 
  • Experience of working with young people 
  • Experience of European wide youth projects 
  • We encourage applications people under 35 years of age but welcome all applications 
  • Living and working in Europe.

What difference will you make?

We are currently undertaking a 3 year strategy, some of the key goals of that work (ending mid - 2025) will be:

  • Convert to a Charity
  • Secure some core funding for a core staff team
  • Hold us to account ensuring young peoples voices are input into all of our work
  • Support our Membership offer development.
