Treasurer and Trustee for THAT Foodbank. A worthwhile role where you can make a difference in the community?

What will you be doing?

As Treasurer of THAT Foodbank  you will  advise on financial matters, ensure we meet our financial obligations and help us build a sound financial strategy as we move forward. The Treasurer ensures that effective and appropriate financial measures, records, controls and procedures are put in place and reports to the Board at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation. 

Working with the other Trustees you will oversee the charity’s resources and long-term plans. 

What are we looking for?

You will have knowledge and experience of financial management ( at least 3 years) including experience of presenting and explaining  financial information to support decision making.  You will have a broad range of experience in business or public service

You will have excellent interpersonal, decision making and relationship building skills as well as team working, IT and presentation abilities. You will be able to demonstrate tact, integrity, accountability and objectivity and you will be passionate about the work we do and have a commitment to our charity and its cause.

What difference will you make?

By managing the finances and resources of the charity, the role makes a real impact within the community, ensuring families and individuals who are facing the very real issue of food poverty are not alone and receive the help they need.
