An exciting opportunity has become available to join the board of Heritage Lab Ramsgate as a Treasurer & Non-Executive Director.

What will you be doing?

Heritage Lab Community Interest Company is seeking a Treasurer (Non-Executive Director) to join our Board of Directors.

Reporting to the Chair, this is a key strategic position within the Board, enabling us to grow as an organisation, add value to our local community and support our creative regeneration projects with a particular focus on Ramsgate.

The role is voluntary with expenses reimbursed and would require 1-2 days per calendar month.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong aptitude for numbers and good financial analysis skills.
  • Treasury or Auditor or Accountancy experience essential
  • Excellent attention to detail, combined with strong organisational skills
  • Efficient and thorough approach
  • Interest and passion for the regeneration of Ramsgate and/or its heritage
  • Knowledge and experience of current finance practice relevant to Community InterestCompanies [or demonstrable commitment to learning this quickly]
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management).
  • Ability to communicate clearly & succinctly and operate as part of a team
