An exciting opportunity has become available to join the board of Heritage Lab Ramsgate as a Treasurer & Non-Executive Director.

What will you be doing?

Heritage Lab Community Interest Company is seeking a Treasurer (Non-Executive Director) to join our Board of Directors.

Reporting to the Chair, this is a key strategic position within the Board, enabling us to grow as an organisation, add value to our local community and support our creative regeneration projects with a particular focus on Ramsgate.

The role is voluntary with expenses reimbursed and would require 1-2 days per calendar month.

What are we looking for?

Strong aptitude for numbers and good financial analysis skills.
Treasury or Auditor or Accountancy experience essential
Excellent attention to detail, combined with strong organisational skills
Efficient and thorough approach
Interest and passion for the regeneration of Ramsgate and/or its heritage
Knowledge and experience of current finance practice relevant to Community InterestCompanies [or demonstrable commitment to learning this quickly]
Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial management).
Ability to communicate clearly & succinctly and operate as part of a team
