This is a part-time volunteer Trustee role for West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau.

What will you be doing?

West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau is a local charity which operates for the benefit of local residents by providing free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and assistance. We are seeking a person with a financial and/or accounting background to act as our Treasurer.

As a local charity, the ideal candidate will live in or around the surrounding area although this is not essential as most of our meetings are held online. Our existing Treasurer is stepping down at our AGM at the end of October, hence the search for a new Treasurer.

This is a part-time volunteer Trustee role for WDCAB. The Treasurer will be someone who can assist with: Financial Statements; Financial Planning; Budgeting and Accounting. We would welcome expressions of interest from people with experience in financial management and reporting, have a knowledge of non-profit financial regulations and compliance; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience in a similar role within the charitable sector would be a definite plus

The role of Treasurer is so important to us - not only do we need someone to keep us on track financially and keep us viable, but even more significantly, we are looking for someone to help us formulate our vision for the future.
