  • A Board level role for a qualified accountant living in Hertfordshire to manage the financial resources of a community bank offering affordable loans and safe savings 
  • Contributing to strategy and future growth

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee monthly financial reporting and delivery to agreed SLA’s with outsourcing partner
  • Review Financial Reports, particularly to the Board, the Regulator and to Members
  • Implement effective cash management and financial controls in conjunction with outsourcing partner
  • Be  responsible for  risk management policies and procedures, systems and controls
  • Carry out annual budgeting and forecasts 
  • Advise the Board on all financial matters 

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant 
  • Senior level experience, ideally in banking 
  • Experience of managing an outsourcing partner
  • Willingness to work independently, as well as in a team 
  • Good Excel skills 
  • Resident in Hertfordshire
