acet UK is a Christian charity who deliver relationship sex education (RSE), train educators to deliver RSE support our international partners working in similar fields
Our comprehensive relationships sex education (RSE) program, called Esteem, supports young people in making wise healthy choices. Building healthy self-esteem is key, as the program name suggests & is at the heart of our work.
Our teaching on sexual health is delivered in the context of relationships we promote respect, commitment faithfulness within relationships. We communicate that sex is so good, that it deserves to be highly valued & is worth waiting for.
Our approach is to teach the facts in an engaging way, with a strong emphasis on developing confident decision-making building positive relationships. The sessions are interactive are designed to suit a variety of learning styles.
We have been delivering education training on relationships sexual health for over 25 years. We provide teachers, youth workers other professionals a fully accredited contemporary relationship sex education training course. Accreditation is by the AIM - all our teaching staff are RSE specialists. We also run short courses for parents.
We support similar work with our acet family around the world who work in similar fields through churches other organisations.
We are looking to strengthen our current board & are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who are passionate about Christ & committed to the promotion of healthy relationships & good sexual health. You should have strong experience in finance & or fundraising please.

With family relationship break downs on the rise & poor mental health, emotional disorder & identity issues on the increase particularly in young people: we believe that improving healthy relationships & encouraging positive self-esteem is key to transforming the culture we live in.

We meet 5 times per year, 2x in person 3x online . It is expected that you would be able to travel to London to attend the face to face meetings, so please do not apply if this would be a problem. It is also expected that you would be happy to champion us as an organisation in your own time, which might take the form of talks or posts on social media to raise awareness of the valuable work we do.
