You will take up the Work streams that you feel fits in with your availability to contribute to the Project

An exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact by being involved in one or more of the Projects strategic Teams covering Social Media, Marketing, Promotional Events, Fundraising, Business Advisory Group, and Site Location.

What will you be doing?

Each Team will have its own set of Aims and objectives and set of Work Streams that can easily be shared among the Team to recognise the tremendous commitment of Volunteers and our Teams will be based on the time you can devote to this Project.

As one of our Volunteers you will take up the Work streams that you feel fits in with your availability to contribute to the Falklands War Heritage Centre.

The Falklands War Heritage Centre is a new nonprofit company, made up of Royal Navy veterans, starting out on an ambitious project to build a dedicated venue that will be a permanent memorial and education platform for the nation.

We have a selection of other volunteering roles ranging from events coordination, research, fundraising and Marketing.

We aim to give our volunteers the flexibility and confidence to reach their own targets and gain experience for their future goals.

What difference will you make?

Ultimately, you will be a key Team member or Leader ensuring and helping with the smooth running of the Project as we progress through the various Business Plan Phases to our ultimate goal of achieving and opening the Falklands War Heritage Centre. A national centre of excellence for education, research and remembrance that plans to develop more services to meet increasing delivery of the Project.

Your input will shape how we present ourselves to our service users, stakeholders, funders and general public.

You will help us reach out to the various volunteering communities to spread the word. Your networking and any media contacts will help amplify the work planned for and delivered by an excellent team of volunteers.

You will help gel together into a dynamic organisation our other teams of volunteers dealing with Marketing, Social Media, Promotional Events, Fundraising and Operations.

With Business experience you could help guide the Project towards success

 

You will also be influential in supporting the organisation's development in its transformation and growth as we continue to develop the ongoing business plan and longer-term strategy.
