Buzz is working in partnership with Sheffield organisations, professionals and individuals with lived experience to develop a dynamic 'SSFA' for Sheffield.

What will you be doing?

You will

  • Join our monthly zoom meetings
  • Help us promote our work in your networks in Sheffield
  • Bring your professional perspective to our plans

The SSFA Sheffield website was set up last year and we are proud to say it was the second SSFA established in the country following on from Kents pioneering efforts. There are currently 3 in the country with more on their way.

What are we looking for?

We are especially keen for volunteers with backgrounds in Education, Family Law, Health, Domestic abuse and lived experience of recent family separation in Sheffield.

What difference will you make?

You're contribution will-

  • Provide representation for your sector for Sheffield SSFA
  • Shape how we present ourselves to all stakeholders
  • Enable us to provide support to separating families at the earliest opportunity
  • Help us create a programme of awareness raising events for professionals and information events for separated families
  • Help us thrive and grow and be more than just an informative website
