Training and development can be provided. We try to ensure roles are flexible & that commitments fit with volunteer need - contact us for a chat!

Fundraiser tasks include:

  • Support raising of funds
  • Report to the committee on fundraising
  • Write grant bids
  • Attend meetings -  usually 1 hour, ever 1 /2 months, weekday evening

What will you be doing?

Chichester Sea Cadets is seeking an enthusiastic fundraiser to join its Unit Management Team (UMT).  We are a long-established Sea Cadet unit that has provided life-changing opportunities for many young people. We currently have 14 cadets who come from all over the area.

There are free training courses available for you to develop new skills, boost your CV and support you in this role.

What are we looking for?

Previous money management experience is desirable but the right attitude and a passion for improving the lives of young people are essential. If you think you are a match for the person specification below, please get in touch:

·         You have three years or more professional experience in in roles requiring key skills or knowledge such as:

o   Financial management / fundraising

o   General / operations management and administration

o   Written and verbal communication skills

o   Numeracy skills

o   Ability to network and form positive relationships

·         You are reliable, honest and trustworthy

·         You work effectively with a team

·         You are able to motivate and encourage others

What difference will you make?

You will play a key role make a positive difference to teenagers who are often struggling in today’s world and their communities.
