Help Youth Concern to develop and execute communications across all organic social channels: (IG, IGS, IGTV, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) • Work in line with Youth Concern Executive to understand our tone of voice and social media strategy • Creation of posts using Canva where necessary • Share knowledge and learnings with wider team • Pull monthly social media performance reports • Explore other platform opportunities where relevant • Contribute to weekly communications meetings
Experience Required: • Experience running social platforms • Clear understanding of the social media landscape • Experience using a scheduling tool (Hootsuite) • Excellent written communication skills
Nice to have: • Some image creation experience, e.g. Canva, photoshop etc • Understanding of the Charity industry, fundraising etc Time Required • Approx. 10 hours per week for 6-12 months
Many vulnerable young people are hard to reach and reluctant to ask for help. Our social media channels help us to reach these young people and build our reputation and their trust in us, so we can progress to supporting them.
