International Association for Democracy is looking for a Social Media Officer to help promote IAD across our social media accounts.

What will you be doing?

Objectives of this Role

Prepare IAD posts for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on topics relating to democracy, adding value to our audience and driving channel growth
Prepare images for social media posts using Canva (training provided)
Suggest topics IAD should post on
Carry out digital campaigning on our social media pages: engage with relevant content as IAD to increase our visibility on social media and to gain new followers (training provided)

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Political Sciences or a related field
Previous experience with social media (in a professional capacity)
Basic understanding of Google Workspace and collaboration tools on Google Docs
Fluent in English (C2-level)
Passion for democracy, rule of law and human rights

Preferred Qualifications

Can generate engaging infographics and videos
