Ayati Mind is a mental health social enterprise that connects men from underserved communities with culturally competent therapists. We seek an experienced social media manager to help us connect with our wider community. 

What will you be doing?

We're looking for a committed, creative and passionate Social Media Manager to help us spread awareness, connect with and grow our audience, and support our mission. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand's online presence and fostering a sense of community among our supporters.

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing the company's social media presence, including creating and executing social media strategies, developing and curating engaging content, and analysing and reporting on social media metrics. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the marketing,events and business development teams to support overall company goals and objectives.

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our mission and values.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, including written, visual, and video content.
  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with our audience.
  • Brand Awareness: Enhance brand visibility by maintaining consistent and on-brand messaging across platforms.
  • Analytics: Monitor and report on social media performance using relevant tools and KPIs.
  • Campaigns: Plan and execute social media campaigns to support various initiatives and raise awareness.
  • Trends: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and technologies to keep our content fresh and engaging.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in managing social media for a brand or organisation.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and platforms.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual content.
  • Strong community management skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media, marketing or a related field
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
  • Experience with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful social media strategies
  • Experience with social media marketing and email marketing a plus
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experience and passion in the non-profit, healthcare, or mental health sector is desirable, but please feel encourage to apply even if you dont meet this requirement.
  • Able to commit at least 7 hours per week
